The Place
Mo’orea is a heart shaped island amongst the archipelagos of French Polynesia in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean. It is a volcanic island. It is one of the Windward Islands, a group that is part of the Society Islands, 17 kilometres (11 mi) northwest of Tahiti. The name comes from the Tahitian word Moʻoreʻa, meaning "yellow lizard".The island was formed as a volcano 1.5 to 2.5 million years ago, the result of the Society hotspot in the mantle under the oceanic plate that formed the whole of the Society Archipelago. It is theorized that the current bays were formerly river basins that filled during the Holocene searise.

Mary Crocker
Growing up on the east coast, Mary had a childhood longing for Hawaii, the South Pacific and most passionately ~ whales! Over the past 12 years, she has been on multiple trips to swim with the humpback whales, sperm whales, pilot whales, whale sharks and dolphins across The Silver Banks off of Dominican Republic, Tonga, Hawaii, Bimini, Dominica and Mo’orea. Through these many profound encounters she has deepened her connection with these astounding beings and is now bringing awareness to others of how vital they are to our oceans and life itself. Not only through being with them in person in the water, but also through her visual art. Mary is a Certified Breathwork Coach and painter and creates light and energy infused artwork to transmit passionately through these experiences.
